Who facilitates the workshop?
Impact That Stands Up™ is facilitated by Melinda Craike and Bo Rolih, co-founders of Quality for Outcomes.
Together, we bring more than four decades of experience across prevention, health promotion, place-based and community programs, working both inside organisations and alongside them in not-for-profit, government and higher education settings.
Together, we have designed and facilitated more than hundered workshops and training programs for diverse audiences, including those from not-for-profit, government, research, community, media, and business sectors. We have taught program design, planning and evaluation at undergraduate and Master's levels.
We understand both the theory and the reality. We know the pressure of attracting funding. We know reporting deadlines. And we know the awkward “but did it really work?” question.
Which is why we design structured, applied workshops grounded in real programs, so participants leave with clarity, alignment and language that stands up in executive, board and funder conversations.
What do others say about this workshop?
Participants describe our workshops as providing 'clear, easy to understand guidance', 'very engaging', with 'relatable examples which made complex concepts easy to understand'.
Everyone who attended Impact that Stands Up reported feeling more confident in communicating their program's impact. Here is what they said:
'Great facilitation of group discussions. You provided individual advice and guidance to all participants, enabling them to apply their learnings to their work and workplace. Mel and Bo are great facilitators, who are skilled at meeting people where they're at and explaining concepts using simple, easy to understand language and methods. I will definitely attend future workshops that build on this foundational knowledge if they are offered in the future.'
'I really enjoyed the hands on approach - it works well.'
'The Impact Alignment Map… [created] simpler, clearer, and stronger links between the stages for a realistic and credible picture.'
'The set up at the start as to the WHY was great. The range of different types of activities helped to keep it engaging.'

How, when, and where is the workshop delivered?
Because of its highly practical nature, this workshop is delivered as a live, interactive session with a small group.
You’ll work on one of your own programs throughout the day, so you leave with something real and usable, not just ideas.
We’re planning the next workshop for October 2026 in Melbourne CBD.
If you’d like to be the first to know when bookings open, you can register your interest here. We’ll email you as soon as the date is confirmed and registrations go live.
Registering your interest doesn’t commit you to attend.
How much does it cost?
Your registration includes a full day of facilitated learning, all workshop materials and reusable resources, including the Impact Alignment Map™, structured workbook, practical templates, AI prompt guide, and a Certificate of Completion.
Tea/coffee, lunch and snacks are provided.
Cost: AUD $790 per participant. No GST applies.
Places are limited to only 15 participants, so get in early to secure your spot.
We strongly encourage team participation. Impact clarity strengthens when teams develop shared language and expectations together.
What if my organisation can't afford it?
If you are part of a small not-for-profit and cost is a genuine barrier, please reach out to our co-founders directly at bo@qualityoutcomes.au or melinda@qualityoutcomes.au.
We care deeply about equity and strengthening impact practice across the sector, and we don’t want cost to prevent organisations doing important community work from attending our workshops.
If participating would make a real difference for your team but the price is out of reach, let’s have a conversation. We offer discounts proportionate to your organisation’s size and capacity.
How can I get my manager's support to participate?
We understand that asking for professional development support can sometimes feel uncomfortable, especially when budgets are tight and workloads are high.
To make this easier, we’ve drafted a sample email you can adapt and send to your manager.

Because good programs deserve clear, credible impact narratives.
How do we work?
Pragmatic. Practical. Purposeful.
Expect practical activities, learning from the person next to you, not just the person at the front, and hands-on work on actual programs. We use power point slides, but they’re purposeful and free of essay-sized bullet points.
You'll leave with practical tools, transferable skills, and reusable templates. We'll take care of the coffee and lunch.
