Who will facilitate the workshop?
Impact That Stands Up™ is facilitated by Melinda Craike and Bo Rolih, co-founders of Quality for Outcomes.
Together, we bring more than four decades of experience across prevention, health promotion, place-based and community programs, working both inside organisations and alongside them in not-for-profit, government and higher education settings.
Together, we have designed and facilitated more than hundered workshops and training programs for diverse audiences, including those from not-for-profit, government, research, community, media, and business sectors. We have taught program design, planning and evaluation at undergraduate and Master's levels.
We understand both the theory and the reality. We know the pressure of attracting funding. We know reporting deadlines. And we know the awkward “but did it really work?” question.
Which is why we design structured, applied workshops grounded in real programs, so participants leave with clarity, alignment and language that stands up in executive, board and funder conversations.

How, when, and where is the workshop delivered?
This is a live, interactive workshop with a limited number of participants. Participants will work on one of their own programs during the workshop.
When: Wednesday, 22 April 2026 from 10am to 4.30pm.
Where: Library at the Dock (Meeting Room 1), 107 Victoria Harbour Promenade, Docklands 3008, Victoria (Melbourne, Australia)
How do I get there/where to park?
We recommend travelling by public transport if you can. The Library is within Melbourne’s Free Tram Zone, so you can catch tram routes 11 and 48 from the CBD and Southern Cross and ride for free to the nearby stop (stop D18) without needing a myki ticket if your trip is entirely within the zone.
On-street parking around the library is limited and generally restricted to 2 hours. So if you are driving, there are several paid parking lots in Docklands where you can park for the duration of the workshop.
For example, Care Park - 55 Merchant Street, Wilson Parking - 800 Bourke Street, Secure Parking - 401 Docklands Drive or The District Docklands West Car Park.
Please allow extra time to find parking prior to the workshop.

We care deeply about equity and strengthening impact practice across the sector, and we don’t want cost to prevent organisations doing important community work from attending our workshops.

How do we work?
Pragmatic. Practical. Purposeful.
Expect practical activities, learning from the person next to you, not just the person at the front, and hands-on work on actual programs. We use power point slides, but they’re purposeful and free of essay-sized bullet points.
You'll leave with practical tools, transferable skills, and reusable templates. We'll take care of the coffee and lunch.
